James Clawson is the Head of Marketing at Spyre Sports Group, a management company that manages college athletes. Thanks to a unanimous ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court, it is now admissable and legal for NCAA athletes to gain monetarty compensation for their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). James' company, Spyre, works with those athletes to make sure they are capitalizing on their earning potential while staying in compliance with the NCAA. This is a major paradigm shift in college athletics in which the lasting effects of have yet to be seen. James and Ben prognosticate on what those changes might be, and whether or not it will be net-good for college athletics.
